Website Policies
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This is the official Shadowrocket website and user manual. This policy covers browsing, on-site interactions, and analytics on shadowrocket520.com. It does not replace the app’s privacy information or Apple’s rules for store accounts and purchases.
1. Scope and Access Data
This is a static content website. It has no registration, login, email subscription, or online submission forms, and does not ask visitors for their name, email address, or payment details. You can read the guides without submitting your existing subscriptions, server details, passwords, or configuration files.
When your browser requests a page, the infrastructure that serves this website receives essential technical information, such as your IP address, requested path, access time, browser request headers, and response status. This information is used to deliver pages, detect unusual requests, and troubleshoot issues. It does not mean the site reads app data on your device.
This site does not provide node services or offer, sell, or recommend nodes or subscriptions. A one-time client purchase is not a network service plan; purchasing the client and managing your own connection details are separate matters.
2. Analytics and How We Use It
This site uses analytics to understand page visits, referral categories, device and browser types, and clicks from the download information page to the App Store. Clicks are recorded only when you actively select the relevant button. This helps us assess whether links work, guides are easy to find, and mobile users encounter any issues.
Analytics measure website usage. They are not used to read Shadowrocket connection logs, proxy traffic, subscription contents, or other in-app information. Access records and security logs may be used during maintenance to diagnose errors. Not all data processing has the same retention period.
3. Cookies and Browser Storage
Depending on the analytics setup, this site may use cookies or similar browser identifiers to distinguish visits and reduce duplicate counts. Whether anything is stored, how long it lasts, and its specific name can be checked in your browser’s records for this site. Visiting a page does not necessarily write data to every type of storage.
Some interface states can be saved in the URL as an anchor, such as the current section or selected content panel. Anchors are not cookies. If browser storage is used for interface preferences, it should not contain subscription URLs, server credentials, or payment details.
4. App Store External Links
The only way to get Shadowrocket is through its App Store product page. Apple operates that page. Account sign-in, purchases, payments, refunds, and related data handling after you follow the link are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policies.
This site does not receive payment card details or Apple Account passwords. When you click a link, the destination service may receive the network information needed to make the connection and referral information your browser sends under its own policies. Check the App Store page for system requirements and purchase compatibility.
5. Browser Controls and Information Protection
You can check, block, or clear this site’s cookies and website data in your browser settings, or restrict scripts. Clearing storage may reset interface preferences, while restricting scripts may affect navigation or interactive elements; static text remains available to read. Browser settings do not automatically delete access logs already held by the service.
When troubleshooting, avoid sharing complete subscription URLs, account credentials, or screenshots containing sensitive information publicly. For help, start with the Getting Started guide and Troubleshooting guide, then check the settings on your device as described. You do not need to send connection details to this site.
6. Policy Updates and Scope
If website features, analytics settings, or applicable requirements change, this page will be updated and the last-updated month at the top will be revised. Significant changes involving new data categories or purposes will be explained in the revised policy.
Please revisit this page when you need to know how information is currently handled. It describes the website’s data practices. For changes to the app or App Store policies, consult the information published by those services; this policy does not make commitments on their behalf.
